Jay-Z and Mayor Nutter to Make Announcement Monday Morning at Art Museum

Jay-Z and Mayor Michael Nutter will join each other on the Art Museum step Monday Morning at 10:30am for a "major announcement". The early word is that they will be announcing a multi-day concert festival happening over Labor Day Weekend. Since the announcement is happening at the Art Museum, the logical thought is the fest would be staged along the Ben Franklin Parkway.

UPDATE 5/13

Nutter and Jay-Z will announce the Budweiser "Made In America" festival. It will be a three-stage event bringing a wide range of acts to the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. Jay-Z will be curated the event. It will take place September 1st and 2nd. It will NOT be free. Live Nation will be promoting the event and tickets go on sale May 23 at ticketmaster.com or livenation.com. Don't expect a list of artists quite yet.
