According to the Gilbert Police Department, former Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb was arrested for DUI last week in Arizona. The incident happened on June 28th shortly before midnight in Gilbert, AZ outside of Phoenix. The police report says that he was "impaired by alcohol" and rear-ended another vehicle stopped at a red light. This is McNabb's 2nd DUI offense. He was arrested in December of 2013 in Phoenix and served a one-day sentence last year. McNabb was drafted 2nd overall by the Eagles in 1999. He led the team to four straight NFC championship games and one Super Bowl appearance. McNabb was traded to the Redskins in 2010 and played for the Vikings in 2011 before retiring.

Fire crews in Bucks County rescued a child stuck down a well late this afternoon. It happened around 4:45 p.m. on the 1400 block of Swamp Road in Buckingham Township between Creamary and Mozart roads. The child was taken to St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne. The boy suffered cuts and bruises. The well is apparently 8 feet deep.

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission announced today that a six-percent toll hike will take effect in January. The increase will effect both E-ZPass and cash customers. Right now, drivers using E-ZPass technology pay 35% less than cash-paying drivers. The minimum toll on the PA turnpike will jump from $1.09 to $1.16 for E-ZPass and from $1.70 to $1.85 for cash customers.

Mostly clear and humid, temperatures in the 80's this evening in Center City.
