Man Shot In Montco Church, Obama To Send Troops To Syria, Philly Teen Shot and Killed

An altercation between to men at Keystone Fellowship Church turned deadly, after one of the men involved pulled out a gun and opened fire. The altercation happened around 11:30 Sunday morning, in the church. The two men got into an altercation and one of the men shot and killed the other. The victim was 27-year-old Robert Braxton of Montgomeryville. Braxton was taken to Abington-Lansdale Hospital after being shot in the chest. He was pronounced dead at 12:11 p.m. The man who shot Braxton is now being questioned by Police.

President Obama will announce today that he will be sending around 250 additional military personnel over to Syria to help assist in fighting against ISIS. The team of personnel will consist of special operations forces and support personnel. After sending these troops over, the total American Military presence in the country could go up to 300.

A Philadelphia teenager was shot and killed after he was involved in an altercation with several other people outside of a North Philadelphia lounge. The shooting happened right before 3 a.m. on Sunday morning in front of the Emergency Cafe and Lounge on the 400 Block of East Wyoming Avenue. The 17-year-old victim was taken to St. Christophers Hospital for Children where he was later pronounced dead. As of now, no arrests have been made.

The Flyers lost Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs last night and are now eliminated from the series.
