One man has been arrested and another sought in connection to a robbery of an elderly woman at Parx Casino earlier this week. Bensalem Police says that 33-year-old Jason Ballard has been taken into custody. He is charged with robbery, theft and conspiracy. They are still seeking 31-year-old Miguel Soto on the same charges. On December 11th, surveillance video shows them following a 73-year-old woman into the parking lot at the casino. One of them ripped a purse off her shoulder and then they fled. They made off with an undisclosed amount of cash and her cell phone. They are both from the Newark, NJ area. Ballard is being held at the Bucks County Correctional Facility on $25,000 bail.

Emergency crews responded after two children passed out at a Winslow Township Elementary School in Camden County this morning. The two children happen to be twins. It happened just before 11:30 a.m. at Winslow Township School No. 1 on E Charter Avenue. No other children were affected. Camden County Hazmat officials were on scene and testing revealed no air quality issues. The cause is not known. The children were sent home with their parents.

A woman was found dead in home in Conshohocken on Friday. Police were on the scene near 9th and Hallowell Street. The woman is believed to have been stabbed. No arrests have been made or motive known at this time.

UPDATE: The victim has been identified as 60-year-old Catherine Wanamaker. A suspect is now in custody. Police responded to the home on the 900 block of Halloween Street at 5:14 a.m. Friday to the report of a disturbance. They had to force their way into the home. They found Wanamaker dead on the floor from multiple stab wounds. The suspect is awaiting arraignment. No further details have been released.
