A youth hockey coach has been arrested and faces child sex abuse charges in both New Jersey and Delaware. 55-year-old Walter "Tracy" Ferinden of Lansdale, PA, is charged with nine counts of second degree unlawful sexual contact with minors in New Castle, Delaware. He is accused of abusing two boys in this case. He was arraigned and released on $25,000 bail. He was also accused of molesting a 12-year-old boy in an apartment in Deptford, NJ in 1994. He is charged with two second degree counts of sexual contact in that case. Ferinden is expected to surrender to NJ authorities. In the 90's and 00's, Ferdinen coached youth hockey and conducted hockey clinics in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, New York and Vermont. There may be other victims. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

Officials in Burlington County, New Jersey, say that the two discovered dead in a Maple Shade apartment last night were mother and young son. Police were called to the Fox Meadow Apartments around 9 p.m. Thursday. 38-year-old Sasikala Narra and her 6-year-old son Anish Narra were stabbed multiple times. The husband/father discovered the bodies when he returned home for the evening. Friends say that the Indian couple moved to the United States about 10 years ago and work as software engineers. Officials say "at this point there is no indication that this is a hate crime connected to the fact that the victims are of Indian origin." Autopsies will be performed today. The Maple Shade Police Department and Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office are investigating.

Philadelphia Police have arrested a man they say went on a paintball spree earlier this month in Northwest Philadelphia. 21-year-old Kadene Bryant was taken into custody in his home in East Germantown on Thursday. Back on March 7th, five people were shot by a man with a paintball gun who was riding around in a white mini-van. Four of the shootings happened in Roxborough and one was in Germantown. The victims suffered minor injuries. Bryant is charged with five counts each of aggravated assault, simple assault, possessing an instrument of crime, recklessly endangering another person, and related offenses.
