Wing Bowl 26 was held in the predawn hours Friday morning at the Wells Fargo Center in South Philly. Nearly 20,000 people packed the stadium to partake in the spectacle fueled by beer and of course wings. Usually, Wing Bowl is Philadelphia's substitute for the Eagles not being in the Super Bowl. It became another rally ahead of Sunday's game for the fans. Molly Schuyler won her third title and set a new record. She ate 501 wings in 30 minutes, besting the old record of 444 set in 2015.

Former Phillie's 2B Chase Utley is still "the Man." Utley is getting behind the Philadelphia Eagles with the help of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" stars Rob McElhenney and Kailtin Olson. He posted a video to Instagram featuring the trio flapping their wings to the Rocky music. A man of few words, he doesn't even say anything. The video does include a colorful caption.

Punxsutawney Phil emerged from his lair on top of Gobbler's Knob in the tiny town 65 miles northeast of Pittsburgh and saw his shadow. The furry prognosticator told the thousands of onlookers (through his top hat handlers called the Punxsutawney Groundhog Club's Inner Circle) that we are in for six more weeks of winter. According to legend, if it is sunny and the groundhog sees his shadow he'll become frightened and run back in his burrow, signifying winter will continue. If it is cloudy, then no shadow and he'll stay outside for an early spring. Phil's official proclamation this Groundhog Day: "Up early this morning. Far from home. Are you searching for the Phil-osopher's stone? Well, even my best friends, they don't know. Is it an early spring or just more snow, My faithful followers, your hands (and my paws) are getting cold so here is my forecast. Not lead, but solid gold: I see my royal Shadow! Six more weeks of Winter to go!"
