Philadelphia police are investigating the deaths of twin babies in the Tacony section of Philadelphia. The mother is suspected in the deaths before attempting to take her own life. She is also suspected of giving her 4-year-old daughter prescription pills. That child in stable condition.

The man and women in a YouTube video of an infant boy being put into a washing machine will not face any criminal charges. The video went viral shortly after it was uploaded. DYFS is now investigating the incident, but Camden County Proseuctors don't expect to file criminal charges.

A man is in critical condition after being struck by a trolley in Northern Liberties on Tuesday night. The incident happened at Front Street and Girard Avenue. The 57-year-old man was transported to Hahnemann Hospital with a head trauma.

The incident is under investigation.

A Philadelphia Police officer, Bridgette Paris was arrested Monday for stealing from a toy store. Authorities allege Paris engaged in an on-going conspiracy of theft from a local toy store. She is charged with retail theft, unlawful taking, receiving stolen property, forgery and related offenses.

A 92-year-old woman died Sunday evening after a fire swept through a home in the city's Bridesburg neighborhood. The fire happened a little after 6 p.m. in the 2800 block of Hedley Street. The elderly woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Police are investigating a triple shooting in West Philadelphia Thursday night. A 22-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot in the forehead and in the leg. A second man is in stable condition after he was shot once in the arm and once in the thigh. The third victim is also in stable condition after he was shot in the arm and leg. The shootings are labeled as drug related.

Firefighters on a house fire in West Philadelphia discovered a large-scale marijuana growing operation. When firefighters began battling the blaze, they found 100 marijuana plants valued at $1 million inside the property. Narcotics investigators were on the scene conducting an investigation.

American Tower Corporation has put up cell towers in Northampton Township, some right in people's front yards. And now work crews have been getting the ground ready for twelve more 25-foot towers. All the utilities in this neighborhood are underground, and some say the towers would be an eyesore. One person is dead and two others are injured after a three-car accident in East Falls. One 25-year-old woman who was driving had to be extricated from her vehicle. She later died from her injuries at the hospital. In the other vehicle was a 64-year-old man who suffered from a head injury and a 50-year-old woman who suffered injuries to her leg, arm and chest. A woman's decomposed body found in the Juniata Park section of Philadelphia early Saturday has been identified as 22-year-old Melanie Colon of North Reese Street. She died from multiple gunshot wounds.

Colon's body was found by a passerby Saturday morning behind an apartment building near Wyoming Avenue.
