Authorities are investigating the deaths of two hotel guests at Revel Resort after their bodies were found in their guest room Sunday afternoon. The bodies of a 56-year-old male and a 21-year-old female, both New Jersey residents, were discovered just after 1:30 p.m. by a housekeeping employee. An autopsy was conducted last night.

Cliff Lee allowed two hits in eight scoreless innings and the Philadelphia Phillies scored twice in the second inning to win their first game of the season with a 2-0 victory over the Atlanta Braves on Thursday night. Lee (1-0) didn't win his first game last year until July 4, but the former Cy Young Award winner outpitched Kris Medlen (0-1) with temperatures in the low 40s and a light mist falling most of the game.

The Philadelphia City Controller, after an audit of the Workers Compensation Program, says taxpayers are footing the bill for skyrocketing workers' comp claims. In 2011, the city of Philadelphia paid nearly $54-million for workers' comp claims – a 25% increase from what it paid five years earlier.

City councilwoman Marion Tasco's anger over delays in renovations to a rec center in her district boiled over Tuesday at a budget hearing. She blames the Nutter Administration for deliberately holding up the project. The Nutter Administration says about 22,000 homeowners had requested informal appeals of their new property assessments. That's about 5 percent of residential properties. What they're calling a 'first level review' of assessments is really an informal discussion between the property owner and the assessor. Officials had expected about 30,000 requests of first level reviews.

Police say an 80 year old woman was carjacked after eating Easter breakfast with her family Sunday morning outside of the Metro Diner in Brooklawn, New Jersey. According to police, the suspect was caught on surveillance video robbing a Rite Aid, located next to the diner on Saturday. Police say a woman is in extremely critical condition after an accident Wednesday night in East Falls. The accident happened at Lincoln Drive and Forbidden Drive around 6:15 p.m when her car crossed over into the northbound lanes where it was hit by another vehicle. The victim reportedly suffered multiple internal injuries. She was taken To Temple University Hospital.

It's going to a bad pothole season, worse than last year, according to PennDOT. The cause is a wet winter with freezing temperatures at night, then thawing during the day. Atlantic City's Revel casino filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Camden yesterday. Revel said it was worth no more than $450 million, and it could take four years to become fully profitable. It plans to continue normal operations, paying employees and vendors, and predicts guests will not notice anything different. Police in Gloucester County, New Jersey have the life of a nine-year-old autistic child they saved. Officers found the boy Saturday afternoon stuck in mud and water in the Mantua Creek..
Police say the boy was 200 yards from shore in the middle of the creek and up to his neck in mud.
A total of six officers got him to shore.
