An 84-year-old woman is now in critical condition after she was struck by a car in the Fox Chase section of Philadelphia. The incident took place on the 8000 block of Pine Road at around 4:30 a.m. Police say that the woman was struck by a silver Chevy Malibu while she was crossing the street. The 24-year-old driver pulled over and later returned to the scene. He told police that he called 911 from his car. He said that he thought he killed a deer. Police have now taken the suspect into... Police are now asking for the public's help in finding a man who has gone missing. 72-year-old George Ran Hudson was last seen on Saturday at his home on the 2700 block of North 20th Street. Hudson's family says that he suffers from dementia and walks bent over. He is described as a black man, 5' 4" with brown eyes and gray hair. Bucks County Police have seized around 6 kilograms of heroin hidden in a pickup truck on the streets of Bensalem. Police pulled the truck over and seized the drugs totaling around $4 Million, they also arrested the three men inside of the truck. Police say that the drugs were hidden in a secret compartment inside of the back of the truck. Penn State University has now suspended one of its fraternities after a student suspected of drinking was found unconscious. University officials are currently investigating Delta Tau Delta's involvement in the incident after the 18-year-old student was found unconscious near the frat's house back on September 28th. A leak of phthalic anhydride caused a hazmat situation in South Philadelphia on Tuesday afternoon. The incident took place at Ashland's manufacturing located on the 2800 block of Columbus Boulevard. The agent, which is used in the making of plactics that go into fiberglass, was being released into a containment area in the facility. One pedestrian was injured Monday morning after they were struck by a SEPTA bus in Center City. Police have stated that the pedestrian was struck by a Route 27 SEPTA bus at the intersection of Broad and Vine Streets at around 9:30 am on Monday. The victim was then taken to a local nearby hospital. The extent of the victim's injuries is not known at this time. The incident is still under investigation.

Chester Police are now investigating after a man was shot and killed in a Delaware County home. The shooting took place on the 1400 block of Kerlin Street at around 9:30 am on Sunday. Police were called onto the scene after they received reports of gunshots in the area. Officers arrived on the scene to find a man shot multiple times. The man was pronounced dead at the scene, so far no arrests have been made.

A vigil was held on Thursday night for a teenager that was shot and killed in Germantown this past Tuesday. The shooting took place on Tuesday night at around 8:40 pm, killing 16-year-old Jai Custus and injuring three others. The victim's family stated that Custus began to run towards the gunshots to keep his younger cousins out of the way who were with him at the time of the shooting. Marple-Newtown School District officials are now investigating after a referee wouldn't allow a student on the soccer field because he was wearing religious headwear. The incident happened at an away game for Marple-Newtown against Conestoga High School. Witnesses say that the referee would not allow the Freshman student on who was wearing the religious headpiece.
