Bill Cosby's lawyers are now asking the judge to ban certain clothes and accessories with slogans from his upcoming retrial. Lawyers say that at his last trial, accusers wore t-shirts and buttons that had slogans such as "We stand in truth." Some women also carried flowers to express solidarity with the accusers. Cosby's lawyers argue that the shirts and other items could influence the jurors. The jurors for Cosby's trial are set to be picked on April 2nd.

A horse jockey is now on life support after an accident occurred on the race tracks at Parx Racing in Bensalem. The accident took place during the ninth race at the track on Monday when the horse of 56-year-old jockey Jose Flores fell during the race. Flores suffered massive head and neck injuries due to the fall and unfortunately the horse had to be euthanized. Out of respect for Flores, all races were cancelled on Tuesday. Philadelphia homicide detectives are asking for the public's help in identifying a killer who gunned down a man in broad daylight last weekend. The shooting took place on the 1800 block of Oxford Street back on Saturday March 11th. Police released surveillance footage of the incident, which shows the suspect arguing with the victim. A bomb threat forced The Roots set at SXSW in Texas on Saturday to be cancelled. The Austin Police department stated that they have arrested the man responsible for the threat. 26-year-old Trevor Ingram emailed a bomb threat, which led to officials having to cancel the "Bud Light x The Roots & Friends Jam" at the Fair Market event venue. The judge for the Bill Cosby sexual assault retrial has now agreed to let five additional accusers testify. Prosecutors will be able to select five of the eight women who claim their incidents happened between 1982-1996, that includes the one woman who testified in Cosby's first trial. Prosecutros say that the women's testimony is evidence of Cosby's prior bad acts. The jury selection is scheduled to begin on March 29th and the trial is set for April 2nd.

Police in Upper Darby say that a home health care worker, who overdosed on heroin, was saved by the patient she was taking care of. 29-year-old Amber Graziano suffered a heroin overdose on Monday evening in the home of the 73-year-old patient. The patient found Graziano in her home and immediately called 911. Graziano was rushed to the hospital, but after treatment and being released, she went back to the patient's house to confront her. A 5-year-old is in critical condition after he was hit by a car in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia. The incident happened at around 4:20 pm on Tuesday on the 7200 block of Revere Street. The child was sent to the hospital in critical condition. Police are continuing an investigation into the incident.

SEPTA's Airport Line was temporarily shut down on Monday after a train in Southwest Philadelphia struck a pedestrian. The incident happened at around 10 am on Monday near 58th Street and Woodland Avenue. Officials say that the pedestrian survived the incident, but was rushed to the hospital. SEPTA had to shut down the Airport Line in both directions as police investigated the incident.

Philadelphia Police are investigating the suspicious death of a man in the Somerdale section of Phladelphia. The 22-year-old man was found by a family member, lying near a shed in the backyard of a home on the 500 block of Byberry Road. Officials say that the victim had severe head injures, he was pronounced dead on the scene. Police are continuing an investigation.

Philadelphia Police are investigating a double shooting that took place in the Logan section of Philadelphia on Thursday night. The shooting took place just before 8 pm on the 2000 block of West Champlost Avenue. The 30-year-old victim was shot once in the face and once in the chest, he was pronounced dead on the scene. A 45-year-old man was also shot in the left foot during the shooting. He was rushed to Einstein Medical Center where he is listed in stable condition. So far no arrests... Read More
