Officials in Delaware County are now investigating after a pedestrian was hit and killed by an Amtrak train in Chester. The accident took place at around 8:30 pm on Wednesday on the Amtrak train tracks near Fifth and Kerlin Streets. Officials say that the suspect was hit and killed by an oncoming southbound train. The SEPTA's Wilmington-Newark line had to be shut down for a period of time to let officials investigate the scene.

Two men have been charged in a human trafficking case that Pennsylvania's attorney general is calling "horrible." 34-year-old Kenneth James Cromwell and 50-year-old Barry Charles Schiff have been charged with trafficking individuals, involuntary servitude, prostitution as well as other services. The men are accused of forcing 6 women into prostitution in New Jersey and Pennsylvania since 2014. The women were persuaded into prostitution either by promise of opioids or by death threats.... Street Road in Trevose, Bucks County was shut down for a period of time on Monday night after an accident involving two pedestrians. The incident took place just after 8 pm on the 4900 block of East Street Road. Police say that the driver, who then fled the scene, struck the two pedestrians. The victims were taken to Aria-Torresdale Hospital but their condition is not known at this time. Police are continuing to investigate the crash and search for the driver.

Philadelphia Police are investigating after a man and a woman were injured in a home invasion that took place in the Point Breeze section of Philadelphia. Officials say that three men in black ski masks and black clothing forced their way inside of a home on the 2100 block of Oakford Street at around 6:15 am on Sunday. The suspects assaulted a 35-year-old disabled man, hitting him in the back of the head with a gun. The suspects also shot a 31-year-old woman in the knee. Both were taken... Read More

Philadelphia Police are searching for a suspect wanted in connection to a deadly triple shooting. The shooting took place on the 2000 block of 66th Street in Southwest Philadelphia on Wednesday night. Police say that a 27-year-old man was shot multiple times and killed. A 26-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman were also shot and are recovering at a local hospital. There is no word on a motive for the shooting as of yet.

The Philadelphia Parking Authority has announced that metered parking through the city will be free starting this Saturday November 25th and will continue to be free every Saturday after 11 am until the end of the year. Mayor Kenney stated that the city wants to compete with the major malls around the area (King of Prussia, Deptford and Neshaminy) that offer free parking to their customers. The remains of two missing residents from the West Chester senior living home fire that took place last week, have been recovered in the wreckage. The fire broke out at the Barclay Friends Senior Living Community last Thursday, which resulted in injuring over two dozen people and displacing 133 residents. Philadelphia Police have now identified the woman who died after she was found badly burned in a house fire in Roxborough on Sunday. Local Philadelphia teacher Shelia Hawkins was found in the home and was rushed to Temple University Hospital where she later died from her injuries. The fire broke out just before 8 am on Sunday on the 600 block of Renz Street. Crews were able to get the fire under control by 8:10 am. Montgomery County police have placed a man into custody after they found thousands of child pornography images on his computer. 28-year-old Zachary Geib was arrested after police had a search warrant to investigate his home in Schwenksville. An investigation began after a tip came in of a child pornography image that was posted online. Officials were able to track down the IP address to Geib's home.
