Police have now placed a teenager in to custody for vandalizing a synagogue in the Tacony section of Philadelphia. A 13-year-old boy has now been charged with the incident which took place this past Sunday. The teen threw a baseball sized rock through a stained glass window at Temple Menorah Keneseth Chai. Police are now searching for a suspected gunman who still remains at large after a barricade situation ended in North Philadelphia. Police and a SWAT team arrived at 17th and Susquehanna Avenue at around 4 pm on Tuesday after a 17-year-old boy was shot by a man in the right hip. Philadelphia Police formed a barricade at an apartment building in the Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia on Monday night. Police arrived on the scene after getting reports of gunshots coming from the top floor. Responding officers began to set up a perimeter along the 500 block of Front Street at around 6:30 pm. Philadelphia Police are now investigating after a teen was injured in a shooting in West Philadelphia. The shooting took place near 50th and Haverford Avenue just before 4 pm. Police arrived on the scene to find the teenager with a gunshot wound to the upper body. He was then rushed to The Children's Hospital Of Philadelphia. Philadelphia Police are now searching for an armed robber who has been targeting businesses in Chestnut Hill and West Oak Lane. Police have stated that the robber pulled out a knife on an employee at a Metro PCS store on Stenton Avenue this past Tuesday, he was unsuccessful in his robbery and did not get away with any money. SEPTA Officials are set to meet on Thursday, and it is expected that they are going to approve a new plan to purchase new rail cars for its Regional Rail lines. The plan would be to purchase 45 bi-level rail cars from CRRC, which is a subsidiary of a Chinese manufacturer.
