Fire Officials are now investigating after a fire in South Philadelphia led to a partial roof collapse at a restaurant. The fire broke out at Coco's Chicken and Waffles on the 1400 block of South Street at around 6 am. The building also houses apartments above the restaurant. The fire started in a vent near the roof of the building, which then spread to the whole building. Firefighters arrived at the scene, but were unable to put the fire out before the roof collapsed. The Snow Emergency in Philadelphia has now been lifted after the nor'easter that hit the city and surrounding suburbs. The lifting of the Snow Emergency means that parking is now allowed again on emergency routes throughout the city. All trash services that were cancelled on Tuesday will resume on Wednesday, people who had trash day on Tuesday are asked to hold their trash until next week. The flight attendants have stated that the airline failed to enforce its rule of prohibiting employees from employees making insulting comments about the attendants online. Pennsylvania State Police are now investigating after a body was found along the Schuylkill River in Berks County. The body was found by a group of kayakers on Sunday just before 2 pm near Gibraltar Road in Exeter Township. Police say that the kayakers were searching for a 26-year-old man, Bradley Verret who was last seen in Reading over a month ago. Philadelphia Police are now investigating a string of paint ball gun attacks that have taken place in the city. Five people were all targeted and shot by a suspected male in a Dodge/Chrysler Caravan as they walked outside on Tuesday in Roxborough. All five of the incidents took place on the same day, just hours after each other. Two of the five victims were taken to the hospital to treat there injuries. Philadelphia Police are now investigating after a murder occurred in the Kensington section of Philadelphia. The murder happened on the 300 block of W. Westmoreland Street at around 6:50 pm on Wednesday. Police arrived on the scene to find a man shot four times in the back of the head. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene. Officials at Rowan University in Glassboro, New Jersey have now come up with a plan to help fix the campus' problem with lead-tainted water in many of the dormitories. The University had the water tested on campus and lead-tainted water was found in nine older residence halls. Around 400 nurses and other medical staff are now on strike at the Delaware County Memorial Hospital in Drexel Hill. Dozens of the nurses and staff protested outside of the hospital on Sunday. For months now the union has been in contract negotiations with the hospital to hopefully increase staff levels to no avail. The invasion took place on the 6500 block of Lebanon Avenue at around 3:19 pm on Thursday.
