PECO officials are warning locals to protect themselves from a string of recent scams targeting their customers. The suspects are calling customers disguised as PECO employees saying that their electric will be cut off unless a payment is made. PECO has stated that none of the calls could be them as they would never demand money on the spot. If you come across one of these imposters, officials ask that you contact your local police.

New Jersey State Police are investigation after a woman was injured when a piece of debris from a dump truck came smashing through her windshield. The incident happened on February 8th at around 2 pm on I-295 in Hamilton Township, Mercer County. An employee of the pharmaceutical company Merck & Co. has been accused of stealing potassium cyanide for use as rodent killer. The Montgomery County district attorney's office reported that 60-year-old Richard O'Rourke stole around 220 grams of the chemical from the lab located in Upper Gwynedd Township. O'Rourke was employed at Merck as a senior analytical chemist. Officials say the investigation began in December after a fellow employee saw O'Rourke pour the chemical into a bottle. He... Read More

Activists in Philadelphia are fighting for 70 plus families that could be evicted this Wednesday from local residences that they have been staying in since coming from Puerto Rico. The families moved over after many of their homes were destroyed after Hurricane Maria struck the country. Philadelphia Police are now investigating after a man was stabbed on the Ben Franklin Parkway during the Eagles parade on Thursday. The incident happened at around 10:30 am, police say that the man was stabbed once in the right side of his chest. The man was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital where he is listed in critical condition. So far no arrests have been made.

However, police officials have said that there are a number of people still being sought. Police are searching for a number of suspects who are wanted for breaking into an A.C. Philadelphia Police are searching for a man who is wanted in connection for the sexual assault of a 22-year-old Drexel student. The incident happened at the student's apartment located on the 3400 block of Race Street at around 6 am on Saturday, January 27th. Police say that the suspect was seen driving away in a dark grey Ford SUV. Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact Philadelphia Police.

With the big celebration of the Eagles' Super Bowl victory Sunday night, many fans took to the streets to celebrate. While most of the celebrating was under control, some of the fans decided to cause a bit of mayhem in the streets of Philadelphia. The window's at Macy's located on Market Street were smashed.
