The Philadelphia Union have now announced they have re-signed former United States International Forward Charlie Davies. Davies who was picked up by New England before the trade deadline, had been out of a contract. Davies had one assist last season in his eight appearances for the Union. The Union stated they are excited to get Davies back on the squad for the start of the preseason and look forward to what he can bring to the team.

A New Jersey man who was sentenced to life in prison for killing three people in Pennsylvania, now faces four other murder charges for the death of four people in New Jersey. 24-year-old Todd West of Elizabeth, New Jersey, was sentenced to three life consecutive life sentences back in October for killing two people in Allentown and another in Easton back in July of 2015. Philadelphia Police have now arrested a suspected drunk driver who crashed into a pickup truck on Wednesday night. The crash happened at 2nd and West Berks Street in Kensington at around 11:30 pm. Police say that the driver was speeding when the truck crashed into a car. When police arrived on scene they found the truck and the car heavily damaged, as well as several other parked cars with damages. Both of the drivers were taken to an area hospital. Philadelphia Homicide Detectives are now investigating a deadly shooting that took place on Wednesday night in the Tioga-Nicetown section of Philadelphia. The shooting took place outside of a Checkers restaurant on the 1300 block of West Butler Street. Police arrived on the scene to find a man in his 20's shot in the head and back. The man was later pronounced dead. Police are still investigating the shooting and are looking for a motive and a possible suspect.

Philadelphia Police have begun to bring a heavy presence of officers at the Philadelphia Mills Mall due to the past 2 nights of chaos. Tuesday nearly 400 teens showed up at the mall and caused havoc. Around 90 of the juveniles made it into the food court, past security, and started fighting. While police and mall security tried to break up the fights and get the kids out of the mall, many of them started saying obscenities towards them, and some even throwing punches toward officers.... Four people were arrested after an incident that took place at Philadelphia Mills Mall (formerly Franklin Mills) in Northeast Philadelphia. Police responded to the mall at around 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday evening of a report that a large group of juveniles were causing a disturbance. Police stated that 200 juveniles were at the mall, but only 30 of them made it inside. The group was formed and planned over Snapchat. Luckily no one was injured and no damage was done to the mall. The Delaware River Port Authority is now investigating a fatal accident that took place on the PATCO high speed line. The crash happened around 4 pm at the Broadway station in Camden. Officials stated that one person was struck by the train and was killed on impact. PATCO officials say that they have suspended service in and out of the Broadway station for now to investigate.

Temple hasn't played a game since December 3rd when they beat Navy 34-10 to win the American Athletic Conference Championship.
