Two people were injured in a small plane crash that happened Wednesday afternoon in Lindenwold, Camden County. Two men who were flying a plane from Medford crashed on the 500 Block of East Linden Avenue at 12:47 pm. Authorities say that the plane split in half upon contact, causing the cockpit to flip upside down where the two men were stuck for about 20 minutes. Police responded to a call Tuesday night of an armed man who barricaded himself inside his house in South Philadelphia. Police arrived on the scene at 6:15 pm on the 200 block of Morris Street. The man was reportedly suffering from mental issues and was inside his house with two hunting rifles. Police sent out a tweet to the area telling the public to avoid from the street. The man eventually surrendered to Police and no injuries were reported in the ordeal.

Police have ID'd and charged the man responsible for ruining the Malandra Hall Community Center youth football field in Camden, New Jersey. The suspect is 20-year-old Gloucester County resident Alexander Peters. Police say that Peters also confessed to spray painting a swastika on the property as well. The field was in such bad shape, coaches and other concerned parents stopped their kids from playing on the field because it is too dangerous. Peters has been charged with third degree... Philadelphia's iconic cheesesteak restaurant Geno's has taken down its controversial sign saying "This is Amercia, When ordering Speak English." The sign was put up in 2006 by the late owner Joey Vento who passed away in 2011. The sign was also recently in the spotlight when Donald Trump visited Geno's in one of his campaign trips to Philly. Vento's son Geno, who now runs the resturaunt, has not yet commented on the matter.

A multi-car crash occurred in the Tacony section of Philadelphia Thursday which involved a police cruiser. The crash happened at 11:47 am at the intersection of Tacony Street and Bridge Street. Police said the crash happened because of a driver running a red causing a chain reaction of crashes. A 33-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. No police were injured during the crash.

Darby police are now searching for a suspect who is responsible for stabbing a woman to death in her home. The stabbing took place in the victim;s home on the 500 block of Spruce Street in Darby. Police identified the victim as 51-year-old Diane Hart. She was found with multiple stab and slash wounds to the head, neck and chest. A family in Philadelphia was subject to a frightening home invasion on Tuesday night. The home invasion happened in the Lawncrest section of Philadelphia on the 1300 block of Hellerman Street. Two unidentified men broke into the family's house at around 7:45 pm Tuesday night, and held the husband and wife at gunpoint. The Philadelphia mail distribution center is now facing serious fraud accusations. The center was under video surveillance for the past 8 weeks without the employees knowing. The video caught two supervisors allegedly falsifying time sheets so they could receive thousands of dollars in overtime that they didn't earn. Police responded to a call of a domestic dispute that turned deadly between a couple in North Philadelphia Tuesday morning. The incident took place at the couple's house on the 2100 block of South 60th Street. The dispute was between a 20-year-old woman and her 26-year-old boyfriend. The woman stabbed her boyfriend in the neck in the home at around 9 am on Tuesday. The man was rushed to the hospital, where he later died. Philadelphia is planning to revamp 11 low performing schools in the school district. Next week, the district will begin a month of meetings with the community and school quality reviews to determine what to do with each school. The Philadelphia School District plans to revamp the schools by next fall, but does not plan on closing any of them.
