Philadelphia Firefighters are now investigating a fire that took place in the early morning hours on Sunday. The fire broke out on the 4500 block of North Bouvier Street at around 5 a.m. in the Logan section of Philadelphia. The fire spread to two adjacent houses and damaged them as well, but the home where the fire broke was vacant. Firefighters are still investigating and looking into a possible cause that started the fire.

The State of Pennsylvania ran it's first assessment check of Philadelphia School Districts buildings in nearly 15 years and has identified nearly 12,000 repairs that need to be done to the schools that could cost up to $5 billion to fix. Police are now investigating after an explosion of a manhole injured a Montgomery County woman on Thursday morning. It happened near Ardmore and Lancaster Avenues in Montgomery County just after 6 am. Police say that the explosion happened underground, causing the manhole lid to blow off, which then hit the 50-year-old woman in the ankle. The incident happened on the 5800 block of Brush Road at around 3:40 pm on Wednesday. Chester County Officials have reported that two dogs have been returned to their homes after being stolen in early January. East Fallowfield Township resident Mark Uschold has been placed into police custody in connection with the dog kidnapping.
