Upper Darby Police are now searching for three suspects wanted for a string of robberies. The suspects were caught on surveillance photos breaking into local businesses in the area. All the burglaries were reported during the last two weeks of December, happening along Long Lane. Police have decided not to release the names of the businesses involved in the robberies to protect them from future robberies. Anyone with information is asked to contact Upper Darby Police.

A Montgomery County woman appeared in court on Wednesday for allegedly supplying heroin to an overdose victim. 27-year-old Gwen Prebish admitted to selling heroin to 32-year-old Michael Pastorino, who was later found dead in his Upper Moreland Township home. Upon further investigation, officials say that Prebish actually sold Pastorino fentanyl, which is 40 to 50 times stronger than heroin. A recent Bloomberg analysis has now discovered that the Philadelphia region is the worst in the country for rodent infestation. The survey was conducted by the American Housing Survey and shows that 18 percent of homes in Philadelphia, Camden, and Wilmington metro area reported seeing mice and rats in their buildings. Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams has received a fine for ethics violations. The Board of Ethics is fining Williams $62,000. They say Williams took nearly 90 gifts that totaled $160,000, including free vacations, a new roof, and a couch. The Board also stated that William has failed to disclose five different sources of income on his statements of financial interests. The $62,000 fine is the largest issued by the Board in its ten year history.

The Phillies have now announced they have signed All-Star outfielder Michael Saunders to a one-year $9 million contract. The contract also features a club option worth $11 million, which could also increase to $14 million. Philly officials stated that Saunders is expected to take his physical with the Phillies in the next day or two. Saunders hit an impressive 24 home runs last season for the Blue Jays, as well as hitting a .298 average, when he won the All-Star Spot.

Police are now investigating after two men who were impersonating Philadelphia Police officers tried to abduct a woman. The incident took place on the 13000 block of Trevose Road in the Somerton section of Philadelphia on Monday night. The woman stated that the men approached her stating they need to ask her questions but never showed a badge and did not have uniforms on. Police are still investigating into the incident.

Police are now investigating after a woman was robbed at gunpoint in a South Philadelphia parking garage. The robbery happened around 3 am at the Marine Club Condominiums on the 1100 block of South Broad Street. Police say the 24-year-old victim pulled into the garage, and a suspect tapped a long rifle against her window. The Phillies have now announced they have agreed on a one-year renewal contract for shortstop Freddy Galvis this past Friday and avoided arbitration. The one-year deal is supposedly worth $4.35 million. Galvis debuted back for the Phillies in April of 2012. In the 2016 season Galvis hit a .241 with 26 doubles, 3 triples, 20 home runs and 67 RBIs. Philadelphia Police are now investigating after a teenager was shot and killed in West Philadelphia on Sunday. The victim has been identified as 16-year-old Sean D Jones, an immigrant from Jamaica who came over this past August. The shooting took place on the 200 block of North 52nd Street at around 1 pm. Police arrived on the scene to find the boy shot in the head. He was then quickly rushed to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia where he was later pronounced dead. So far no arrests...
