Wednesday night Villanova lost to Butler 58-66 making this the first loss all season and ending a 20-game win streak for the Wildcats. With No. 18 Butler beating No. 1 Villanova it extends a 12 home game winning streak and it is the second time in school history the team has beaten a top ranked team. The City of Philadelphia has announced they will be issuing a Code Blue due to the extreme cold coming our way in the next couple days. Until next Wednesday, the Philly area is facing highs in only the 30's and officials are warning pedestrians to stay indoors during the harsh cold. Police are now searching for two suspects that robbed a Wawa in the Somerton section of Philadelphia on Monday. The robbery took place at the Wawa on the 14000 block of Busleton Avenue at 5:35 am on Monday. Police say that a male suspect who was armed with a hammer began hitting the cash registers in the store, as the female suspect began to take the money and cigarettes from behind the counter and throw them in a trash bag. The Sixers were able to seal a 93-91 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves Tuesday night after Robert Covington made a fall away shot off of an inbound pass with only 0.2 seconds on the clock. The Sixers needed the miracle shot by Covington after they blew a 24-point lead over the Timberwolves and were looking at heading into overtime. Firefighters battled a multi alarm fire that broke out on Tuesday night in Lehigh County. The fire broke out at the Schantz Greenhouse Complex on the 8000 block of Spinnerstown Road in Zionsville. Firefighters from Lehigh, Bucks, Berks, Montgomery, and Northampton counties were all called to the scene to help put out the fire, and some hauled in water tankers. No injuries were reported in the fire, but crews are still investigating.

An Eastern Pennsylvania Judge has now dismissed the homicide charges against former WWE wrestler Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka in the case of his girlfriend's death that happened more than three decades ago. Snuka, who now lives in New Jersey, was charged last year with third-degree murder and involuntary manslaughter in the death of 23-year-old Nancy Argentino, who was found dead in an Whitehall Township hotel room. Penn State lost to USC in the Rose Bowl on Monday 49-52. USC's Matt Boermeester kicked a field goal as the time expired to seal the victory for the Trojans. USC was able to come off of a 14 point deficient in the fourth quarter. A Montgomery County woman was struck and killed Monday night in Springfield Township. Police have stated that the incident happened on the 9200 block of Ridge Pike, near Bells Mill Road at around 7:30 pm on Monday. The woman's identity has not yet been identified, and Police are still investigating into the crash. So far there is no word on whether the driver of the car will be charged in the crash.

Philadelphia Police and the FBI are now searching for two men who are wanted in connection with four armed robberies in Philadelphia. The men are wanted for robbing two TD Banks on December 17th and 23rd, as well as a Citizens Bank on December 17th. The latest bank the men robbed was the TD Bank on the 2200 block of East Butler Street at 2 pm on Monday.
