Penn State lost to USC in the Rose Bowl on Monday 49-52. USC's Matt Boermeester kicked a field goal as the time expired to seal the victory for the Trojans. USC was able to come off of a 14 point deficient in the fourth quarter. USC Freshman QB Sam Darnold threw for 453 yards and 5 touchdowns on Monday, which helped lead to the miraculous comeback and gave USC their ninth consecutive win for the season, and their first Rose Bowl win since 2009. A Montgomery County woman was struck and killed Monday night in Springfield Township. Police have stated that the incident happened on the 9200 block of Ridge Pike, near Bells Mill Road at around 7:30 pm on Monday. The woman's identity has not yet been identified, and Police are still investigating into the crash. So far there is no word on whether the driver of the car will be charged in the crash.

Philadelphia Police and the FBI are now searching for two men who are wanted in connection with four armed robberies in Philadelphia. The men are wanted for robbing two TD Banks on December 17th and 23rd, as well as a Citizens Bank on December 17th. The latest bank the men robbed was the TD Bank on the 2200 block of East Butler Street at 2 pm on Monday. A 15-year-old boy from Pennsylvania has been charged with homicide in a shooting that took place on New Years Eve that killed another 15-year-old boy. The shooting took place at a home in Greencastle in Franklin County just before 10 pm on Saturday. Police say that one of the boys showed the other boy a handgun and pointed it towards him. The Philadelphia Union have now announced they have re-signed former United States International Forward Charlie Davies. Davies who was picked up by New England before the trade deadline, had been out of a contract. Davies had one assist last season in his eight appearances for the Union. A New Jersey man who was sentenced to life in prison for killing three people in Pennsylvania, now faces four other murder charges for the death of four people in New Jersey. 24-year-old Todd West of Elizabeth, New Jersey, was sentenced to three life consecutive life sentences back in October for killing two people in Allentown and another in Easton back in July of 2015. Philadelphia Police have now arrested a suspected drunk driver who crashed into a pickup truck on Wednesday night. The crash happened at 2nd and West Berks Street in Kensington at around 11:30 pm. Police say that the driver was speeding when the truck crashed into a car. When police arrived on scene they found the truck and the car heavily damaged, as well as several other parked cars with damages. Both of the drivers were taken to an area hospital.
