SEPTA Regional Rail Delays; Home Owner Charged; Teen Swept Away In NJ

The group of storms on Wednesday night delayed 4 of SEPTA's regional rail lines, leaving many passengers upset and without any means of transportation. Debris and downed trees shut down the Paoli Thorndale, Fox Chase, Warminster and Wilmington Lines. As the train came to a stop on the Paoli Thorndale line, SEPTA employees were reportedly not very helpful in the situation and did not give information as to what was going on. Underground Fire Cause Street Closure; Fraudulent Car Lot In Mayfair; Cosby Alt. Juror Speaks Out

A stretch of 5th Street in Old City was closed Monday night after an underground fire occurred. Crews blocked off the road between Chestnut and Walnut streets. Fire crews arrived on the scene after smoke began to rise from underneath the manhole in the street. Crews were able to get the fire out, but the road remained closed the majority of the night, as they wanted to ensure the safety of vehicles driving on the road. Fire crews are still investigating what caused the fire.

Today marked the last day of the 2017 Firefly Music Festival out here in the Woodlands at Dover Downs in Dove,r Delaware, and it was by far the most beautiful and stacked day of them all. The sun was out and shining bright, some clouds did pass by though to give the festival goers some nice shade to cool off in. The temperatures were in the 90's today so everyone was feeling the heat. SEPTA Schedule Changes; Shooting Outside Center City Nightclub; Judge Calls Mistrial In Cosby Case

SEPTA officials have now announced that they are making several changes to their city schedule. The Route 15 trolley has been closed and will not be running again until September 17th. SEPTA crews will be replacing the trolley tracks and buses will run along the route in its place until the tracks are replaced. It was another glorious day here at the 2017 Firefly Music Festival at the Woodlands at Dover Downs in Dover, Delaware. The morning weather started off strong with high humidity and an even stronger sunshine, but the festival goers did not seem to mind as they got to sing and dance along with some of their favorite artists.

Firefly Music Festival is back again this year in the Woodlands at Dover Downs. The festival officially kicked off on Thursday with bands such as Kaleo, O.A.R. and Glass Animals headlining the night sets. Friday kicked off the full festival and every single one of the stages was moving and grooving the whole day. Man Shot In Hunting Park; Elderly Woman Robbed In Mayfair; Suspicious Envelope At IRS Building

Philadelphia Police are now investigating after a man was shot in the head in the Hunting Park section of Philadelphia. The shooting took place on the 3800 block of North Percy Street at around 2 pm on Thursday. When police arrived on the scene they found a 30-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the back of the head. The victim was taken to Temple University Hospital in extremely critical condition. Police are still searching for the suspect or suspects responsible.

Embattled District Attorney Seth Williams faced a federal judge on Wednesday just days before Williams is set to go on trial. Williams sat with his lawyer as the prosecution and defense hashed out some last minute details with Judge Paul Diamond. Man Arrested In Wawa Assault; Suspect ID'd In Infant Death; Cosby Trial Continues

Montgomery County Police have placed a man in custody after he assaulted a woman in a Wawa parking lot. The incident took place at the Wawa on the 1600 block of Valley Forge Road back on April 12th in Lansdale. Lansdale resident Mazen Salfit reportedly grabbed a woman by the arm and pulled her close to his vehicle, he then kissed her with out consent. Philadelphia officials are now trying to offer an alternative method to giving panhandlers money, in an effort to try and stop the practice in the city. The new project would allow pedestrians to text in donations to homeless services in Philadelphia. Pedestrians will be able to text the word "Share" to 80077 and donate $5 automatically.
