Police have arrested a woman who stole money from St. Martha's Parish School book fair in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia. 29-year-old Sarah Higgins was arrested on Sunday morning after she was found to be the woman in the surveillance footage of the robbery that took place in February. Higgins stole a lock box that had about $1000 in it. She is now charged with burglary, criminal trespass, as well as many other charges.

A teenager was shot by Archbishop Ryan High School in North Philadelphia on Saturday Night. The 17-year-old victim was shot in the leg by another teen on a baseball field behind the high school. After being shot, the victim was taken to Aria Health Torresdale where he is in stable condition. The suspects are said to be three teenage boys, although no arrests have been made as of now.

Counties in Pennsylvania were ranked yesterday according to health standards. The rankings are part of a County Health Rankings & Roadmaps Program. Number 1 on the list was Chester County, others on the top of the list included Montgomery County at Number 3, Bucks at sixth, and Lancaster County was rated ninth. Philadelphia was ranked in last place at 67th. The rankings were based on many factors including, quality of life, and social, and economic factors.

The bill to legalize medical marijuana passed through The Pennsylvania house yesterday. The bill will allow the growing, and dispensing of medical marijuana to patients who have a prescription. The bill now must go to the Senate for approval, and then will end up on Gov. Wolf's desk to approve. Gov. Thomas Dimassimo, the man who charged to the stage during a Trump rally in Ohio this past Saturday, is now being charged by Federal Authorities with one count of knowingly entering restricted grounds. Dimassimo was taken into custody immediately by Secret Service and local police after the incident, he was then charged with disorderly conduct including panic.

Local church leaders and other people from around the city came together yesterday to start to make a change in the growing poverty rate in Philly. Members of the Opportunities Industrialization Center announced they will be holding a Poverty Summit which will be held on May 19th at the Community College of Philadelphia. A man, 22-year-old Thomas DiMassimo was arrested on Saturday, for disorderly conduct for trying to charge onto stage at a Trump Rally in Ohio. Secret Service agents quickly apprehended DiMassimo as he jumped over the guard rail to get to the stage. Police say they have now arrested the person wanted for a shooting that took place at a Church's Chicken in North Philly. Ronald Graham has been taken into custody by police, although no charges have been made yet. The shooting took place at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday at the 3600 block of North Broad Street. The victim was found at the store suffering multiple gunshot wounds, but is listed in stable condition as of now.

A new cafe has opened up in Brewerytown, but it's not like any other cafe in Philly, it's the city's first cat cafe. Le Cat Cafe is located on West Girard Avenue. The cafe's mission is to help get rescued cat's adopted in the Philly area. Customers can pay to get in to see the cat's, but if they want to adopt one, there is an extra charge.

Montgomery County Health Officials have announced yesterday that they have a confirmed the first case of Zika virus in the county. Officials say that the person infected is a 55-year old woman who had recently traveled out of country to a place where the Zika virus has been found. According to officials this is the 6th confirmed case in Pennsylvania.
