Upper Darby Police are now investigating after a woman was tied up in an alleged home invasion. Police say that the incident took place along the 6800 block of Coverly Road. First Responders reported that a man allegedly broke into the home and bound the woman who was inside of the home. Police say that the suspect was able to flee out the backdoor before they arrived. It is not clear if they were able to get away with any valuables. Police are continuing an investigation.

Philadelphia Police are now investigating after two men were killed in separate shootings on Tuesday night. The first shooting took place on the 3000 block of North Stillman Street at around 7 pm in the Strawberry Mansion section of Philadelphia. Police arrived on the scene to find the 24-year-old victim with two gunshot wounds to the head. The second shooting took place at around 9 pm on 38th and Reno Streets in the Mantua section. SEPTA's Trenton line resumed service on Monday after a pedestrian was hit and killed by an Amtrak train. The incident took place at around 8:30 am on Sunday near Philadelphia's Torresdale section on Grant Avenue and James Street. The train was heading to New York when it struck and killed a pedestrian. Amtrak brought in another train to pick up the stranded passengers on the train. Officials say that this is the third person to be hit by a train this weekend across the Delaware Valley.... Philadelphia Police are searching for a missing boy who was last seen on Monday. 13-year-old Kcajjahn Ward was last seen at around 5:30 pm on Monday in North Philadelphia wearing a tan, black, and red t-shirt, black shorts, and a red cast on his right hand. Ward is said to be 5'9", 155 lbs, with a heavier build. Police have also said that Ward has his hair braided above his ears. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Northwest Detectives (215-686-3353).

Philadelphia Police are now investigating a double shooting that left a man and a woman injured in Southwest Philadelphia. The incident took place at around 4:15 pm on the 6400 block on Upland Street. A 37-year-old victim was shot twice and another 23-year-old victim suffered a graze wound. Both victims were taken to Penn Presbyterian Hospital and are listed in stable condition. So far there is no word on a motive, but police are still investigating.

Police and fire crews are currently investigating a possible arson incident that took place in the Kensington section of Philadelphia. The incident took place on Tuesday at a construction site on the 1800 block of Frankford Avenue. Police say that a worker arrived at the site and found evidence that someone tried to set one of the units being built on fire. Police say that there was no immediate damage to the unit they are continuing an investigation.

Two armed women dressed as nuns tried to rob a bank in the Poconos on Monday. Police say that the attempted robbery took place at the Citizens Bank near Tannersville. Authorities say that the two women showed the teller a handgun, but police believe that another employee was able to activate the automatic alarm which scared the two women off. Philadelphia Police have now taken a suspect into custody for a DUI after he reportedly crashed into around 27 cars in two different neighborhoods in Philadelphia on Sunday morning. The incident began on the 1400 block of Devereau Avenue at around 3 a.m., where he crashed into around 10 cars damaging them. Police are now investigating after a fatal motorcycle accident took place in Folsom, Delaware County. The accident took place at around 7 pm on Thursday on McDade Boulevard and Monta Vista Avenue. Police say that the motorcyclist collided with a car, sending the motorcyclist underneath the vehicle. When emergency crews arrived on the scene they found the motorcyclist dead The victim's name has not yet been released. Police are continuing an investigation.

The Philadelphia Parking Authority has now announced that the meterUp pay-for-parking mobile app is now returning to Philadelphia. The PPA announced on Wednesday that they have approved a new vendor for the app, ParkMobile LLC. The PPA says that ParkMobile has multiple years of experience with parking apps, having been vendors to cities including New York, Denver, Dallas, DC and Miami. The PPA previously had a pay-for-parking app until it was suspended after the previous vendor shut down... Read More
