Philadelphia Police are now searching for two suspects wanted in connection in a robbery spree in Philadelphia. In one of the robberies, one of the victims fought back. Two of the suspects entered Eagles Corner Store on January 29th at around 9:30. When the suspects started to rob the store, the owner pulled out a gun and began to shoot, hitting one of the suspects. Philadelphia Police are now investigating a string of robberies targeting women that have been taking place in the Northwest neighborhoods in Philadelphia. Police say that they believe the robberies are all connected due to how the victims are robbed, and the description of the suspect and getaway car given by the victims. ESPN will be releasing the top 50 rising stars in the NBA of 2016-2017 season over the next 10 days, leading up to the Rising Stars Challenge during the All-Star Weekend. Numbers 50-41 were released today, and Sixers rising center Jahlil Okafor was ranked at number 43. Okafor has the fourth highest points per game at 15.1, he also has the second most points scored by a 76er since being drafted. Billionaire Investor Carl Icahn has stated that he is now planning to sell the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City. The casino closed it's doors back in October of 2016. During the time before the closure many of the main union workers at the casino were on strike. Icahn has stated that he decided to put the casino up for sale after a bill was passed that would strip him of his casino license for 5 years. Police have now arrested a shirtless man who drove a stolen taxi through Rittenhouse Square on Monday. The suspect apparently assaulted a cab driver and was able to steal the cab and drive off. He then proceeded to drive through Rittenhouse Square and then crashed into a light post on 18th and Walnut Streets. Police were able to quickly apprehend the man and have taken him into Police custody. Police believe the suspect was under the influence and are testing him with a DUI test kit.... Read More

Super Bowl 51 was held on Sunday night which had the New England Patriots going head to head with the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons came out very strong in the first quarter, and held up a strong defense against the Patriots, putting incredible pressure on QB Tom Brady. SEPTA Officials have announced that the Market-Frankford line will be running with 40 trains short (1/3 of the fleet) on Monday. Officials stated that they are suspending the select trains because they found cracks in the support beams of two rail cars. The shortage of cars will have a big impact on travel times, especially with the morning rush. From 6-10 am, and 3-7 pm there will be no A/B service, so trains will be making all stops. Pennsylvania Turnpike officials have now stated that the Delaware River Bridge, which connects the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Turnpikes, will need to be closed for another 2 months while crews make mandatory repairs. Crews found a stress fracture in one of the beams under the bridge last week, which caused the bridge to shut down. The Phillies have announced they signed former Chicago Cubs outfielder Chris Coghlan to a minor league contract. Coghlan played for the Cubs for the 2014 and 2015 season, and part of their World Series 2016 season. In 2009, Coghlan won the National League Rookie of the Year Award while he was on the then Florida Marlins. The Phillies have invited Coghlan to come to spring training in Clearwater this spring.

Philadelphia Police are now searching for a suspect that they say stole a SUV with a baby inside of it on Thursday night. The incident happened near 8th and Snyder streets at around 5:30 pm on Thursday evening. Police say that the suspect jumped in the SUV and that it had the 19-month baby in the back seat.
