NJ Man Found Dead After Killing Daughter, Assaulting Wife; Ex-Boyfriend Charged Shooting Woman

A South Jersey man wanted for killing his daughter and assaulting his wife was found dead in a wooded area on Tuesday morning, 11/23. 57-year-old Gregory Kelemen was discovered around 11:30 a.m. near the 300 block of Preston Avenue in Voorhees. He had suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound. On Monday, 11/22, his wife Sheri called police around 6:30 a.m. to the 100 block of Round Hill Road. Gregory attacked both his wife and his daughter, 22-year-old Katherine Kelemen, with a baseball bat that he kept under his bed. Katherine was taken to Jefferson University Hospital and pronounced dead at 8:15 a.m. Sheri was taken to a local hospital in critical but stable condition. Gregory's body was found about 1 mile from their home. Katherine was a student at Temple University. Sheri worked at Temple Lewis Katz School of Medicine. Gregory worked at Cooper Health. Gregory worked for Cooper Health.

Philadelphia Police have identified and arrested the man accused of killing a women while walking her twin 4-year-old sons last week. 28-year-old Donovan Crawford is charged with murder, violation uniform firearms act, possessing instruments of crime, recklessly endangering another person, and criminal use of communication facility. It happened on Friday afternoon, 11/20, on the 800 block of North Preston Street. 24-year-old Sykea Patton was out with her sons when Crawford, her ex-boyfriend, approached them. The twins witnessed their mother's death. Police say that Patton was in the process of getting a stay away order against Crawford at the time. The family says that Crawford proposed a few days earlier and a fight ensued between the two at the time.
