Three people died in a fiery crash at a toll booth on the Atlantic City Expressway in Atlantic County on Sunday evening, 12/26. It happened on the eastbound side of the Egg Harbor Toll Plaza near Exit 17 in Mays Landing, Hamilton Township. The car was carrying four siblings when it struck the toll booth and burst into flames. New Jersey State Police have identified the victims. 31-year-old Reachthon "Tonny" Khiev of Manchester and 27-year-old Reachsieh "Johnny" Khiev both of Manchester, NH along with 14-year-old Keotepie "Keo" Khiev of Atlantic City, NJ were killed in the crash. Their 12-year-old sister was also in the car and suffered non life-threatening injuries. A toll worker was injured. The brothers came home for Christmas to surprise their sisters. They took a trip to King of Prussia for shopping on Sunday and were on their way home at the time of the accident. According to a GoFundMe set up for the family, the two brothers were the sole financial providers for the family of nine.

Two women have been arrested for attacking several people, including Delaware State Troopers, at a Wawa in Bear, DE, early Monday morning, 12/27. It happened just after midnight at the store located at 3601 Wrangle Hill Road. 20-year-old Ja'aonne Bell and 21-year-old Azaina Davis face charges including assault, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. It started when the women couldn't find their keys. When employees couldn't open their car for them, the pair became enraged and began to damage displays and merchandise. They assaulted two employees and a Good Samaritan who had died to help. When police arrived they found that the employees and customers had locked themselves in the store. The suspects spat in an officer's face and assaulted the troopers while being arrested. Davis needed medical assistance because she was hyperventilating. She later assaulted medics on the way to the hospital.

A teenager was shot and injured on Sunday night in Philadelphia's Olney neighborhood. It happened around 7:15 p.m. on the 200 block of Widener Street. Police say the 14-year-old victim was being chased by the shooter when he was shot once in the face and once in the back. Nine shots were fired. "We found the victim collapsed on the street about 150 feet east of where we found all the spent shell casings, so he clearly was running away from the shooter, or shooters," said Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small. The teen was taken to Albert Einstein Medical Center in stable condition. If you have any information, contact police at 215-686-TIPS.
