Authorities in Montgomery County are searching for a female suspect who is wanted for shooting her mother's fiance in the lobby of a Lower Merion apartment complex on New Year's Eve. 24-year-old Samiyah Williams is charged with first-degree murder, third-degree murder, and possessing an instrument of crime in the death of 49-year-old Adrionne Reaves. It happened just before 10 p.m. Friday night, 12/31, at the Delwyn Apartments at 20 St. Asaphs Road in Bala Cynwyd. Reaves was found dead in the lobby of the building with a gun shot to the head. It started at 8:29 p.m. Police were called to the parking lot of the complex due to a verbal dispute between Reaves and Joi Furman, who his fiancé and Williams' mother. They agreed to separate for the night. Reaves called his daughter to pick him up from a nearby location. Later, he and his daughter went back to the building for some misplaced keys. Police say that surveillance video shows Reaves, his daughter, Joi Furman, and her mother Florence Furman walking through the lobby when Reaves suddenly collapsed. Williams was seen leaving shortly after. She is described as having brown hair and eyes, 5-feet tall, and 127 pounds. She is considered armed and dangerous. Williams lives with her grandmother in Philadelphia. If you have any information, contact Lower Merion police at 610-649-1000 or Montgomery County Detectives at 610-278-3386.

Philadelphia closed 2021 with a record year in homicides and shootings. That trend did not show signs of slowing overnight with several shootings across the city early on New Year's Day 2022. At least 14 people were shot including 2 killed on Saturday, 1/1. One person was killed and 4 more were injured in a shooting near Temple University. It happened around 2 a.m. on the 1600 block of Cecil B. Moore. A 16-year-old was shot in the back of the head and died. A man around 20 was hit several times in the chest and is in critical condition. Two women and one man in their 20s were also shot. They are in stable condition. All were brought to Temple University Hospital. There was another deadly shooting at 1:30 a.m. on 100 block of East Lurray Street. A 33-year-old man was killed and two women injured. Police reported several other shootings with injuries in North Philadelphia, Port Richmond, and Wissinoming.

Philadelphia Police have released surveillance video in connection with a double homicide outside of a gentleman's club early Tuesday morning, 12/28. It happened around 2:15 a.m. in the parking lot of Club Risque on the 5900 block of Tacony Street. Police are searching for two male suspects and a female person-of-interest. A 32-year-old man was shot multiple times in the legs and head. He was transported to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead. A 42-year-old man was taken to Jefferson Frankford Hospital by private car where he was pronounced dead. It started when a man got into a verbal argument with a group of men standing outside the club. That group jumped the man and assaulted him. The man's friend saw the altercation from a short distance away and started shooting. He left in a black Nissan with the woman. If you have any information, dial 215.686.TIPS (8477) or text a tip to 215.686.TIPS (8477). There is a $20,000 reward. The suspects were seen arriving at the club about an hour before the incident.
