Authorities in Delaware are searching for a man in connection to the stabbing death of a man outside of a motel in New Castle County on Sunday afternoon. An arrest warrant has been issued for 52-year-old Frank Deshields for first-degree murder and weapons charges. It happened around 2:45 p.m. Sunday, 4/10, at the Superlodge at 1213 West Avenue in New Castle. Police found a 45-year-old man stabbed in the chest. He was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead. If you have any information, call Detective Daniel Grassi at 302-365-8441 or 1-800-TIP-3333.

Over two dozen were injured after a man opened fire on a crowded Brooklyn subway during rush hour on Tuesday morning, 4/12. It happened around 8:30 a.m. on a Manhattan-bound N train at the 36th Street and Fourth Avenue station in Sunset Park. The suspect put on a gas mask and a reflective construction vest before igniting smoke bombs on the train and in the station. The man began shooting at riders with a handgun. He fled the scene. Police found a handgun with extended magazines that was jammed, believed to be the shooter's weapon. They say that if the gun had not jammed, there would have been more victims. No one was killed, but at least 10 people were shot, some critically. Authorities are searching for the suspect.
