Love from Philly, a Philadelphia music and cultural festival, is returning this weekend in-person at Eakins Oval across from the Philadelphia Art Museum. The original festival debuted as a three-day virtual concert in May 2020 featuring dozens of artists as a way to support local artists at the start of the pandemic. All proceeds and donations go to 30 Amp Circuit which helps local musicians through micro grants. Donate Now!
This year's outdoor festival will be on Saturday, June 11, 2022 from 12-10 p.m. It is FREE. The fest is Rain or Shine. It will feature music, art, film, food, beer garden, and family fun.
There will be performances by Rich Medina, Cosmo Baker, Schoolly D, The Ultimates, West Philly Orchestra, Worldtown, The Del Rons, Gospel Music Preservation Alliance, The Jamaaladeen Tacuma Trio, The Tisburys, Wallis, Philly School District Jazz All-stars, Baby Loves Disco, and more.
The festival is also partnered with Philladelphia Independent Film Festival and will be showing screenings of films including Questlove's Summer of Soul at 8 p.m.
The event will be broadcast on Xfinity, just search for 'Love From Philly'
