One man was injured after flames ripped through a home overnight in South Philadelphia. The fire broke out around 1 a.m. Wednesday in the 1700 block of Reed Street in the Point Breeze section of the city. Firefighters quickly brought the blaze under control. One man was taken to Methodist Hospital where he was treated for smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
