Jim Kenney won the Philadelphia Democratic Primary in convincing fashion yesterday putting Kenney in position to become Philadelphia’s next mayor. Kenney got more than twice the votes as second place finisher, Anthony Williams. Lynne Abraham, only the second woman to make a run at Mayor finished with 8% of the vote. Former City Councilman Jim Kenney has won the Democratic nomination for Mayor in a landslide victory over a field of 6 candidates.
