Philadelphia Police have arrested a man for stalking and harassing multiple women on several different occasions on the streets in Old City. 32-year-old Steve Ditty is charged with stalking, simple assault and harassment. A Pennsylvania appeals court judge ordered state officials to halt any further certification of election results on Wednesday, 11/25. Commonwealth Court Judge Patricia McCullough ordered the stoppage "to the extent that there remains any further action to perfect the certification of the results." Abington Police have arrested a suspect in the shooting outside of the Willow Grove Mall last weekend. 18-year-old Heyzer Perez-Maldonado of Philadelphia has been charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, and carrying a firearm without a license. The demonstration is in response to the announcement by the Archdiocese of Philadelphia earlier this week that the high school will be closed at the end of this academic year. Pennsylvania Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine announced the state's vaccine plan on Thursday, 11/19. She said that the health department is monitoring both Pfizer and Moderna, who recently announced promising numbers from their Phase 3 trials of separate coronavirus COVID-19 vaccines.
