The CEO of Philly Fighting COVID admitted to taking doses of coronavirus vaccine doses home and administering them to friends. Andrei Doroshin, a 22-year-old Drexel graduate student, told NBC News 'Today' on Thursday, 1/28, that he took four doses of the vaccine and personally administered it to four of his friends. Philadelphia Police have released surveillance video of a robbery attack that occurred at a SEPTA subway station that ended with the victim being shot twice. Chester County authorities are investigating after four members of the same family were found dead in their home in West Whiteland Township on Sunday afternoon. Police went to the home around 12:30 p.m. on the 100 block of Mountain View Drive after being asked to perform a welfare check by out-of-state relatives. They were found dead in the basement. Philadelphia Police and City Council kicked off the '2021 No Gun Campaign' on Saturday, 1/23. It will continue all year. There were two event locations today at Yesha Ministers at 2301 Snyder Avenue and Greater Exodus Baptist Church at 704 North Broad Street. Authorities collected 224 guns. For each gun taken back, a $100 ShopRite gift card was given out. Greenfield Foundation donated the gift cards. A veteran Philadelphia police officer has been arrested for the sexual assault of a woman. 40-year-old Rahim Montgomery is charged with the sexual assault of a woman 5 years ago when she was a minor. Montgomery is a 20-year veteran of the force. Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw suspended Montgomery 30 days with the intent to dismiss. Internal Affairs and Special Victims units had conducted investigations into the allegations prior to the charges.

The City of Philadelphia announced the Philadelphia COVID-19 Restaurant and Gym Relief Program on Friday, 1/22. The $12 million grant program is meant to help small businesses most hurt by the latest round of shutdowns. Those restrictions were put in place from the end of November 2020 through January 2021.
