October 2, 2018 - Twenty One Pilots have announced a second leg of the "Bandito Tour" due to overwhelming demand, which will see the band returning to North America for dates in Mexico, Canada, and the U.S. this spring. The band is set to perform at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 7:00PM.

The Philadelphia Music & Arts Festival (PHL Music Fest) is happening this weekend September 27-30. In its second year, the fest is expanding to include two more venues and two additional nights. The lineup is, by design, all Philly artists/bands and includes Waxahatchee, Low Cut Connie, Vita and the Woolf, The Districts, Hurry, Hardwork Movement, Man About a Horse, Pissed Jeans, and more.

New York-based concert promoter Bowery Presents has purchased the building that housed the legendary Philadelphia music venue the Electric Factory since 1995. The concerts will continue at the Northern Liberties location, but it will no longer be known as the Electric Factory. Live Nation, which owns the trademarks and logos, did not offer the intellectual property rights to the iconic brand in the deal. The initial schedule for the Met Philadelphia was announced on Monday afternoon, 9/10, at a press conference held at the Divine Lorraine Hotel. Bob Dylan will headline on December 3rd for the first performance of the renovated concert hall. The $56 million renovation is nearing completion. Legendary singer Aretha Franklin, "The Queen of Soul," has passed away at the age of 76. She was at home in Detroit surrounded by family and friends. She was suffering from pancreatic cancer.
