Healthcare workers, first responders, and other front line and essential workers were honored in University City with a special aerial drone light show on Tuesday evening, 4/28. The commission is made up of 21 members who come from a variety of backgrounds including health care, business, finance, academics, economics, transportation, and government. The Navy Blue Angels and Air Force Thunderbirds will perform a flyover of the Philadelphia and Trenton areas on Tuesday afternoon, April 28, starting around 1:45 p.m. It will last around 30 minutes. The two squadrons will also be flying over the New York City and Newark, NJ, areas earlier in the afternoon around noon. NJ Trooper Shot and Injured in Trailer Park; Double Shooting in Frankford; Body ID From Burning Car

A New Jersey State Police trooper was shot and injured in a trailer park in Salem County on Saturday night, 4/25. It happened just before 11 p.m. in the Harding Woods trailer park on the 100 block of Harding Highway in Pittsgrove Township. The trooper was hit in the leg. He was taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden. He underwent surgery and is expected to be OK. Police have not said what led up to the shooting.
