A Philly SWAT officer is ok after being shot in his bulletproof vest on Friday afternoon, 2/11. It happened around 12:40 p.m. on the 100 block of West Lehigh Avenue in the Fairhill neighborhood. The SWAT team was serving a drug-related search warrant along with Philadelphia Police Department's Gun Violence Task Force. The largest restaurant in Philadelphia's history is set to open this spring along Penn's Landing. FCM Hospitality, owned by Avram Hornik, announced that Liberty Point would open in April. The restaurant will span 28,000 sqft over three levels. It will be located next to the Independence Seaport Museum. It is split between indoor and outdoor seating areas. A contracted travel nurse who attacked another worker at a New Jersey hospital and set them on fire on Monday, 2/7, has been found dead of an apparent self-inflicted gun shot wound.
