The man who was found stabbed to death outside of a South Philadelphia Wawa store early Monday morning, 2/14, has been identified by police. 49-year-old Roger B. Segal was a bartender and accomplished musician (bassist) known throughout the local music scene and beyond. Family, friends, and colleagues remember Segal as being 'well-loved' by all. A Philadelphia man is facing charges after he is accused of stabbing six of his family members in their home early Friday morning, 2/11. 30-year-old Jamal Holmes is charged with attempted murder, aggravated assault, simple assault, and other related offenses. Philadelphia Police are searching for four suspects wanted in a violent home invasion/robbery that happened early Saturday morning, 2/12, in Oxford Circle. The largest restaurant in Philadelphia's history is set to open this spring along Penn's Landing. FCM Hospitality, owned by Avram Hornik, announced that Liberty Point would open in April. A contracted travel nurse who attacked another worker at a New Jersey hospital and set them on fire on Monday, 2/7, has been found dead of an apparent self-inflicted gun shot wound.
