Authorities have identified the 12-year-old boy who, along with his mother, was found dead in a Trenton home; the site of a 37-hour long standoff with police over the weekend. The Mercer County Prosecutor's Office says Quavon Foster was killed a little less than two weeks before what would have been his 13th birthday. Police say 38-year-old Gerald Murphy killed the mother and son.
Still no word on a motive.

| Former West Philadelphia abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell has agreed to give up all future appeals in his case in exchange for life in prison without parole. Gosnell was found guilty yesterday of first-degree murder of three babies born alive and viable during abortion procedures, involuntary manslaughter of a woman who died of an overdose on anesthesia, as well as over 200 counts of other violations. The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Walk to Cure Diabetes will be held on May 18th, 2013 in Wildwood, NJ. Registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. and the walk starts at 10:30 a.m. on the Wildwoods Boardwalk at the Morey’s Adventure Pier. The pier is located on 3720 Boardwalk in Wildwood.
This walk helps fundraise for the people who are affected by type 1 diabetes. The money goes towards finding cures to help better treat and prevent this disease.

Actress Angelina Jolie (pictured) has revealed she has had both breasts removed in a double mastectomy. The decision on the surgery came after tests revealed she has the BRCA1 gene mutation and an 87% chance that she would get life threatening breast cancer. Jolie’s mother was killed by cancer at the age of 56. Jolie’s procedure required three rounds of surgery, finishing with reconstruction of her breasts on April 27th.

| A Toms River father has been arrested and charged with endangerment in connection with the fatal shooting of a 6-year-old boy by his 4-year-old son. Anthony Senatore was arrested Monday night for having multiple unsecured weapons accessible to children. | The popular DJ who was shot inside the Haagen-Dazs Ice Cream shop at 2nd and South Street over the weekend was found with a large amount of drugs in his apartment. The jury in the capital murder trial against former Philadelphia abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell has reached a verdict. The jury has found Gosnell guilty of 3 of the 4 counts of first-degree murder for snipping the necks of babies born alive during abortion procedures.
