Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf announced that 16 more counties will move into the 'green' phase of the state's reopening plan next Friday, June 5. Those counties include Allegheny (Pittsburgh), Armstrong, Bedford, Blair, Butler, Cambria, Clinton, Fayette, Fulton, Greene, Indiana, Lycoming, Mercer, Somerset, Washington and Westmoreland. The Connecticut college student wanted for murder and other crimes over the weekend has been taken into custody in Hagerstown, Maryland on Wednesday. 23-year-old Peter Manfredonia has been on the run since Sunday, showing up in New Jersey and Pennsylvania on the way.

Philadelphia Police are investigating after a 9-year-old was shot and killed in Ogontz on Tuesday night, 5/26. It happened around 9:30 p.m. inside a home on the 5900 block of North 20th Street. The boy was shot once in the face. He was transported to Albert Einstein Medical Center where he later died. No weapons have been recovered and no arrests have been made as of yet. Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney announced on Tuesday, 5/26, that as the region expects to move into the 'yellow' phase of Pennsylvania's reopening plan on June 5, the city can begin to ease some restrictions ahead of that date.
