| A rowhome fire in Philadelphia killed 12 people, including eight children, on Wednesday morning, 1/5. The victims range in age from two to 33 years old. It started around 6:40 a.m. on the 800 block of North 23rd Street in the Fairmount neighborhood. The Philadelphia fire department arrived to heavy flames coming from the second floor. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect in Philadelphia and New Jersey suburbs. A Winter Storm Warning is in effect down the shore. Snow will start overnight and through the day Monday. | The Philadelphia Mummers Parade has been moved to Sunday, January 2 due to the forecast for rain on New Year's Day. The schedule for the String Bands, Comic, and Wench Brigades march down Broad Street will remain the same, just shifted one day. The Fancy Brigades will still perform Saturday's ticketed shows at the Pennsylvania Convention Center at 11:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. since those are inside. | Police in Bucks County are searching for the driver in a fatal hit-and-run accident that killed a man on Christmas Eve. It happened shortly after 5 p.m. Friday, 12/24, on State Road near Fourth Avenue. 65-year-old John Dugan was crossing the street with his fiance when he fell.
