Governor Tom Wolf announced on Monday, 11/8, that he intends to return the decision over mask requirements for K-12 students to local school districts once the current mask mandate expires on January 17, 2022. Someone in the stands at Lincoln Financial Field threw a bouquet of flowers in the direction of Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni as he walked off the field an into the tunnel on Sunday evening, 11/7. Democratic Governor Phil Murphy has won reelection in New Jersey. The race for governor was too close to call as votes continued to be counted on all day on Wednesday, 11/3. A senior student at La Salle College High School died suddenly on Saturday night, 10/30. Blake Barklage suffered sudden cardiac arrest. The Philadelphia 76ers have released their City Edition uniforms for the 2021-22 season. It pays homage to the Spectrum, 'America's Showplace,' which was the team's home from 1967 to 1996. The boyfriend has been arrested in connection to the shooting of a mother and young daughter in Southwest Philadelphia early Thursday morning, 10/28. 34-year-old Desmond Bruson has been charged with aggravated assault, child endangerment, false reports, tampering and related offenses.
