The Pennsylvania Sexual Offenders Assessment Board has determined that Bill Cosby should be considered a sexually violent predator. The Montgomery County District Attorney's office has requested a hearing on the report so a judge can decide if Cosby will be classified as a sexually violent predator. A mother was killed and her two daughters injured when their house collapsed in Mercer County on Monday morning, 7/23. It happened around 7 a.m. on the 1800 block of South Broad Street in Hamilton Township. 38-year-old Tika Justice was killed in the collapse. PA Supreme Court Uphold Soda Tax; Body Found in Plastic in Fairmount; Couple Charged in Baby's Death

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled in favor of the City of Philadelphia and upheld the city's tax on sweetened beverages. The so called 'Soda Tax' is 1.5 cents/ounce. The beverage industry argued that the tax is in violation of the 1932 Sterling Act that gave Philadelphia its own tax authority, but also prohibits it from taxing anything already taxed by the state.
