Residents in one Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, neighborhood have gotten fed up with a large pothole that keeps growing larger and larger without any intervention from the city. The traffic hazard became so big that one woman decided to 'plant' an artificial Christmas tree in the hole. Another man put a plastic Santa inside beside the tree. The festive display caught the attention of the city. The pot hole will be paved over sometime this week.

Firefly Music Festival will be returning to The Woodlands at Dover Downs for the eighth year, June 21 - 23, 2019. The lineup for next year's festival was released today. Along with headliners Panic! A massive 5-alarm blaze broke out in an apartment building in Overbrook early Monday morning, 12/10, forcing dozens from their homes. It started around 2:15 a.m. on the fourth floor of the Overbrook Gardens apartments on the 900 block of North 63rd Street. Fire erupted after a car slammed into a historic building in Hatboro, Montgomery County, on Saturday evening, 12/8. Three men are dead after a shooting inside a Frankford home on Thursday night, 12/7, because of a drug deal gone bad. It happened around 8:15 p.m. on the 5100 block of Saul Street. Philadelphia Police have arrested a man for the murder of a homeowner and two others inside a Tioga-Nicetown home this past Saturday, 12/1. 23-year-old Tahzay Young was arrested without incident in Center City on Wednesday, 12/5. Young is accused of killing 92-year-old Warren Harrison, his girlfriend, 60-year-old Khadijah Abdullah, and her brother, 57-year-old Earl Cottle. The bodies of an elderly couple were found in the yard of their home in Whitemarsh Township, Montgomery County, by a postal worker on Tuesday morning, 12/4.
