One person was killed and another was injured before the gunman killed himself outside a Wawa in Lehigh County on Wednesday morning, 4/21. It started just before 5 a.m. in Upper Macungie Township. The gunman, identified as 45-year-old Za Uk Lian of South Whitehall Township, shot at a woman's car on Route 22 near the intersection of Route 309 and Cedar Crest Boulevard. Former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin has been found guilty on all charges in the death of George Floyd during an arrest on May 25, 2020. Chauvin was charged with second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder, and second-degree manslaughter. The jury deliberated for 10 hours over two days.
