New Jersey State Police announced in a press conference this afternoon that a mother used a pillow to muffle the noise while shooting three of her children before turning the gun on herself. All four of the victims were found in a bedroom of their home on Holly Park Drive in Tabernacle, Burlington County on Thursday morning. 44-year-old Jeaninne LePage and 11-year-old Alexander Harriman survived the shooting and were taken to Cooper University Hospital in critical condition. 8-year-old... Two children are dead, and a young boy and a woman were found wounded in a shooting in a Tabernacle, New Jersey home. According to New Jersey State Police, all the shooting victims were shot with the same weapon, which is a handgun, and was recovered from the scene. The boy and a girl killed were found shot to death inside a home on Holly Park Drive Thursday morning around 9 a.m. The children's mother and 10-year-old boy are in critical condition at Cooper. Yandamuri Sentenced to Death; Nike Pulls AI shoe; North Dakota Fugitive Captured in Philadelphia

Montgomery County court has sentenced Raghunandan Yandamuri to death for the 2012 murder of a baby and her grandmother. The double homicide occurred during a failed kidnapping in a King of Prussia apartment building. Yandamuri is reported to have apologized for the murders, though he still claims they were not at his hands.

Two children were killed and a third child and a woman believed to be their mother were found in critical condition after a shooting inside a Burlington County home Thursday morning. Police responded to a call just after 9:00 a.m. to Holly Park Drive in Tabernacle, New Jersey. Florida State University police fatally shot a gunman at the campus library early this morning. The gunman had entered the library and shot three students while hundreds of others were studying inside. The gunman emerged from the library and ignored an order from police to drop his weapon. He fired a shot at police who returned fire, killing him. Of the three students wounded, one was treated and released. Two remain hospitalized.

Villanova business student Vincent C Paola was arrested yesterday and charged with an sexual assault that allegedly occurred earlier in late July in Wisconsin. The victim, a Philadelphia resident, reported the assault to police two days later. On November 15th, police issued an arrest warrant for Paola, who was taken into custody by university police. He is awaiting extradition to Wisconsin.

The driver of a tractor-trailer fell asleep at the wheel this morning in Berks County and ended up plowing his 18-wheeler through 9 vehicles, killing two people and injuring nine others. 50-year-old Steven Bernier, of Reading, PA, dozed off on Route 222 (Allentown Pike) near Route 73 in Maidencreek Township around 6:30 a.m. Wednesday. The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board has granted Philadelphia's second casino license to Stadium Casino, LLC Live! Hotel and Casino. The new gaming complex and hotel will be just outside the centerfield wall at Citizens Bank Park. Casino developers plan to break ground at the South Philadelphia location at 900 Packer Avenue in about 6 months.
