The Vault at Vinyl Revival is a unique place to see and hear live music. The concert venue coupled with the record shop is unusual but natural. Combinations like chocolate and peanut butter at frist seem unusual but we all know are wonderful! Well so is this shop! Having about 50 seats is both a limitation and a major advantage. The seating is in the vein of a very small stadium setup with the first row being individual seats and the back seat of an old station wagon. I want to mention this... Read More

Philadelphia's top law enforcements officials including Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey and District Attorney Seth Williams were joined by gun shot victim, Joe Jaskolka, at a press conference today discussing the dangers of using guns to celebrate on New Years Eve. Ramsey reminded us that shooting a gun in the air is dangerous at best and potentially deadly. The laws of gravity still apply to bullets; they go up and eventually and unpredictably come down. Jaskolka recalled walking in... Read More

The Eagles won the NFC East last night with a hard fought victory over the Dallas Cowboys. After last year's 4-12 last place finish, most Eagles fans, including this one, hoped for 6 maybe 8 wins under new coach Chip Kelly. But these Eagles have surprised everyone, except maybe themselves. The Birds are a 2 point favorite Saturday night playoff game at home against the Saints. And once you make the playoffs, anything is possible.

The Philadelphia Eagles did what no one expected them to do last night. They won the NFC East Division by escaping Dallas with a 24-22 victory at AT&T Stadium, thanks to a late fourth-quarter interception by Brandon Boykin. Kanye West has used his share of samples over the years and is probably well acquainted with the process of obtaining mechanical licenses through the The Harry Fox Agency. That being said, it seems unusual that he did not get permission or pay for the hook he sample from a 1971 song "Bound" for his #1 hit "Bound 2".
