Tonight's (Oct 18th) full moon will pass through part of the Earth's shadow producing a partial lunar eclipse that should be viewable to most of us in the Philadelphia area. The Burlap and Bean is for me a new place to enjoy live music. Though it has been an established venue for some time, this was my first but not my last visit, as they say in OZ, “there is no place like close to home.” The venue is on Providence Rd. in the Shops at Springton Pointe. Burlap and Bean is primarily a fine coffee shop, a gathering place and a bakery/restaurant. The coffee and bakery items are just delicious and the atmosphere informal and friendly.
