Family and friends are mourning the loss of a teenager in Northeast Philadelphia who died saving the lives of his stepfather and two other passengers when his stepfather became incapcitated behind the wheel. Fleetwood Mac Tour Dates Cancelled, Chris Brown Arrested, Lou Reed Dead at 71

The members of Fleetwood Mac announced this weekend that the band will be canceling all of their upcoming tour dates in Australia and New Zealand, scheduled for November and December. The band explained, "John McVie, one of the co-founding and original members of Fleetwood Mac is now scheduled to be in treatment for cancer during that period of time." The band has yet to comment on the status of their scheduled show in Las Vegas on Dec. 30.

Lou Reed, the legendary NY rocker and founder of The Velvet Underground, died today at age 71. After splitting from the Velvet Underground in 1970, he went on a prolific and influential solo career spanning the decades. Reed called Andy Warhol and David Bowie colleagues, contemporaries, and collaborators. The modern rock sound rife with distortion and noise, poetry and the avant-garde owes itself to Reed. Indie, punk, alternative started with Reed.

Police are questioning a driver today after videos appeared on the internet of a black convertible with the top down driving down the Art Museum steps before speeding off. There were several people on the steps cheering him on and other cars lined up at the top at the time. The incident happened at midnight on Thursday. A Delaware County couple has been arrested and are behind bars for horrible conditions found in the home where they were raising two girls. This is the third time authorities had to remove children from their household. County case workers called police to the home on Bethel Road in Upper Chichester when they were blocked from visiting the children. Police found a house filled with trash, animal feces, and filth. PA State Police are dropping round the clock security for the wife of Lt. Governor Jim Cawley at the Cawley's request. Suzanne Cawley resumed work in May as a full time real estate agent in New York.
