Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes kicked off the annual XPoNential Music Festival last night at Wiggins Park on the Camden Waterfront. In a nearly two-hour set, the folk band, who just released a new, self-titled album on Tuesday, were a surefire crowd pleaser, playing songs new and old.

Colin Devlin Suicide, Crane Operator on Trial, Colwyn Theft Charges Withdrawn

Philadelphia born restaurateur Colin Devlin apparently took his own life after receiving disappointing news related to his dining establishments. The 42 year old Devlin's body was found about 5:30 yesterday morning at Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Lehigh County. Devlin attended Temple and opened his first restaurant, "Dumont" in Brooklyn and later "DuMont Burger" both of which fell into financial difficulty. Devlin left a note and leaves behind a wife and two children.

Democratic gubernatorial candidate Barbara Buono has picked labor leader Milly Silva as her running mate making the first all-female ticket in the state. An official announcement is scheduled in East Rutherford on Monday, the deadline for finalizing the ticket. Buono and Silva will face Republican Gov. Chris Christie and Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno, in the Nov. 5 election.

The body of a teenager was discovered today in the Neshaminy Creek as crews still look for two boys who went missing while swimming Tuesday night. Investigators have confirmed that the body is 18-year-old Dan Tadrzynski. His companion, 19-year-old Perry Krewson, is still missing. Krewson's uncle discovered the body in the water while on a kayak near East Bristol Road and Grove Avenue before noon and called 911. The search continues for the second teenager.

A gifted student and musical prodigy from Haverford has died at the age of 26. Stephanie Yen-Mun Liem Azar (pictured) died Friday at New York Presbyterian Hospital. The cause of death is unclear. At 16 years old, she moved to Philadelphia to attend the Curtis Institute of Music. Azar entered the hospital with an aggressive pneumonia and developed massive brain swelling. Just 4 weeks before her death, she married computer Scientist Pablo Azar who she met at Harvard University.Read More

Philadelphia Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with the robbery of a Wawa in the Bustleton section on July 2nd. The suspect approached the employee at the cash register and asked for a pack of cigarettes. When the employee was completing the transaction, the suspect placed his hand in a blue bag simulating he had a weapon demanding money. Montgomery County Register of Wills D. Bruce Hanes announced on Tuesday that he would issue marriage licenses to anyone who asked, straight, lesbian or gay. This would be in direct conflict with the current law in Pennsylvania which defines marriage as only between a man and woman. A house fire in Chester killed two children this morning. A 7 and 10 year old perished and 2 adults and a 2 year old were transported to Crozer-Chester Medical Center. The child was reportedly in critical condition. The fire broke out about 6:30 this morning on the 900 block of East 15th Street and neighbors reported hearing the sounds of smoke detectors.
