This 4th of July weekend, come on out to Walla Fest at The Centre Theater in Norristown! It is a multi-night music and art festival happening both Saturday and Sunday. The goal of the evenings is to 'cultivate a space for bands, artists and audiences, both local and beyond'. The Walla folks try to eliminate the barrier between the audience and artist by creating a collaborative experience for everyone to enjoy.

At least 12 people are hospitalized, two of them critically injured, following a food truck explosion in Philadelphia's Feltonville neighborhood. The incident was reported around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at 3rd and Wyoming. It was a quick and violent blast caught on tape. Startled and stunned, eyewitnesses say the explosion sent parts of the truck and a propane tank flying across the street - burning a passing car, and starting a minor fire.

Grandmother Found in Freezer; Food Truck Explosion (video); 5 Kids Left Alone in SUV

Police investigators discovered the naked body of an 83-year-old grandmother inside of a basement freezer this morning in the city's Feltonville neighborhood. Police were tipped of by an in-law that the woman, identified as Andrea Carrasquillo, had passed away in January and was placed in the freezer by a relative when they got scared. Laptop Explosion, Gov Corbett Refuses to Sign Budget, SEPTA Tax Relief

A woman in Langhorne is recovering from burns she sustained when her laptop exploded. Loretta Luff (pictured) of Langhorne Manor was checking email while she and her disabled husband were watching the Phillies game. She says her Dell Inspirion 1501 battery pack blew up sending battery acid and burning parts onto her shirt and all around her. She was treated for first and second degree burns after putting out the fires around her.

The Republican-controlled state Senate is poised to approve legislation allowing Philadelphia to help fund its public schools with a cigarette tax increase. Philadelphia officials say that imposing a $2 per-pack city excise tax on cigarette sales will provide $83 million for its schools. Without the money, they say the schools won’t be fit to open in the fall.

The US Coast Guard has suspended it's search for a 14-year-old boy who went missing while swimming in the water off Ocean City, NJ. They called off the search at 4:30 Monday afternoon. They had been searching a 50 square mile area. Ocean City Fire and Beach Patrol will continue their search on Tuesday morning. Missing Boy in Ocean City Rip Current, Upper Darby Bedroom Intruder, Nickelodean Honors Yardley Girl

A 14 year old boy was swept away from the beach by rip currents in Ocean City on Sunday. The boy was reported missing near 9th Street and the U.S. Coast Guard was alerted. The boy was swimming with friends when all were pulled into the ocean and tossed around. The 14 year old is the only one who did not resurface.
