Jack Ramsay Dies, Comcast to Divest Subscribers, Holocaust Memorial at 50 Years

Philadelphia native Jack Ramsay has died. Jack Ramsay played for and then went on to coach the St. Joseph's University men's basketball team from 1955 to 1966. Ramsay became the General Manager of the 76ers and then coached the Sixers to three playoff appearances. Dr. Ramsay went on to coach the Portland Trail Blazers to the 1977 NBA title. He was a broadcaster for the Indiana Pacers, the Miami Heat and ESPN. Ramsay passed away this morning at his home in Naples, Florida. Jack Ramsay... Read More

The initial lineup for the 53rd Annual Philadelphia Folk Festival was announced on Friday afternoon. The festival will be held August 15-17, 2014. Robert Kerns Re-Charged by State; Century 21 coming to Philly; SEPTA Train Hits SUV

Pennsylvania state prosectors have refiled charges against Robert Kerns, the former Montgomery County Republican Party chairman. Kerns, 66, of North Wales, is charged with raping and sexually assaulted a female paralegal who worked at his law firm. Investigators say it happened after driving her home from an office party last October when the victim may have had too much to drink. NJ Fire Rages On, Chestnut Street Renovation, PA Rated Worst Bridges in US

A forest fire continues to burn in Ocean County New Jersey, the fifth fire that has swept through the pine barrens in the last week. Yesterday, the uncontained fire forced hundreds to evacuate their homes. In all 621 homes were evacuated during the alert from five separate fires.
