LaSalle's success in the NCAA Men's basketball tournament is making a Philadelphia playground shot famous. The Southwest Philly Floater from Tyrone Garland (pictured) went down and won the game for the Explorers who advanced to the Sweet 16. The Southwest Philly Floater is a favorite of smaller players trying to shoot over the outstretched wing-span of the big guys.

Revel Files for Bankruptcy, Fed Charges for Pilot Impersonator, Powerball Winner Identified

Atlantic City's Revel casino filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Camden yesterday. Revel said it was worth no more than $450 million, and it could take four years to become fully profitable. It plans to continue normal operations, paying employees and vendors, and predicts guests will not notice anything different. The young couple who stole 2 police cars after a drug binge submitted statements to the prosecution at a preliminary hearing today. Blake Bills and Shayna Sykes said they stole a Camden cruiser and a Philadelphia police car admitting it was a "drug induced, stupid decision" and that they wanted to "go out with a bang." The couple faces multiple charges.

The ratings for the hit reality singing competition, "American Idol," are slowly decreasing. The numbers for the show are dropping in a fast pace. Even though the show has gotten new judges this season, which consists of: Randy Jackson, Mariah Carey, Ryan Seacrest, Nicki Minaj, and Keith Urban; the show is still going downhill. We have a Powerball winner. This weekend’s Powerball jackpot, worth $338 million was won on a ticket purchased in South Jersey, reportedly at the Love’s Travel Stop and County Store in Bordentown Township in Burlington County. According to the store manager, a truck driver called to ask about how to claim his prize.

Police in Gloucester County, New Jersey have the life of a nine-year-old autistic child they saved. Officers found the boy Saturday afternoon stuck in mud and water in the Mantua Creek..
Police say the boy was 200 yards from shore in the middle of the creek and up to his neck in mud.
A total of six officers got him to shore.

On March 23rd at the Absecon Lighthouse, a murder mystery performance will be held entitled, “Lit with a Dim Bulb”. The Horsham Air Guard station has received a new mission, as a ground command center for military drones, and they are 'excited' to take on their new 'enduring mission'. In 2005, the Air Force announced it would phase out the the A-10 planes flying out of the base as part of the decommissioning of the Willow Grove Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base.
