Oh those Wildwood Days! Philadelphia's beloved 1960's pop star Bobby Rydell is being released from Thomas Jefferson Hospital today. Rydell, now 70 years old, underwent life saving liver and kidney transplants. Rydell is counting his blessings and plans to actively promote organ donorship so more lives can be saved.

Phiilies Get 4th Win, Philadelphia Officer Struck By Vehicle, Maple Shade Man Found

A Philadelphia police officer was struck by a vehicle in the city's Olney neighborhood last night near Olney Avenue and 3rd Street. The officer was making a traffic stop when the truck fled, dragging the officer. He was taken to Einstein Medical Center in stable condition with injuries to his left foot. Authorities found the 2011 black Ford F150 unoccupied less than a mile from the accident. Police say the driver is a black male.

Airplane Circles Penn State with Blunt Message, ex-Lansdale Catholic Coach charged for false claims

An airplane flew around State College today towing a sign that read, "TAKE THE STATUE DOWN OR WE WILL." The statue referred to in the sign is believed to be the bronze statue of the late former head football coach Joe Paterno that is standing outside Beaver Stadium on the campus of Penn State. Paterno's name has been tarnished in the wake of the Freeh report into the University's handling of allegations of sexual assault by former assistant coach Jerry Sandusky. Pittsburg Symphony Orchestra has brought "The Legend of Zelda" to life with their orchestra rendition, The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of the Goddesses. It is the first video game themed concert to feature a four movement symphony focusing on the original tracks of the Nintendo composer, Koji Kondo. Along with the compelling music, the orchestra will be featuring a cinematic video presentation, syncing game play to the live music.

Phillies Win, Freedom Taxi Driver Defacation, PA Teacher Evaluations

A Philadelphia Freedom Taxi cab driver's license was suspended after being caught on surveillance camera defecating on Bainbridge Street last Friday morning. The video shows the driver pull over to the side of the road, get out of the car and squat down behind the car door. The Philadelphia Parking Authority is investigating the incident and says the driver has been relieved of his obligations and is no longer being dispatched by Freedom Taxi.

Paternoville is getting a new name. The student run village that camps outside Beaver Stadium waiting for football tickets has decided to change the name to shift the focus to the team and school. Two men are under arrest and millions of dollars worth of narcotics are off the street after a Bensalem police officer and K-9 unit made a traffic stop on routine patrol on Sunday. Officer Brian Cowden pulled over a tractor trailer with California plates on Street Road after observing the driver and passenger acting suspiciously and then noticing several vehicle violations on the 18-wheeler.
